Canine Collective – July Newsletter
Quick Update
New dogs have joined the Canine Collective pack (and yes, they're already keeping us entertained!)
Meet Sadie, our robot vacuum and floor mop. More time with the dogs, less time mopping!
Our 2–5 year vision is taking shape: think jungle gyms, dig pits, water play and natural enrichment areas where dogs can sniff, explore and just be dogs. All while keeping safety in mind—because happy dogs are the best dogs!
Thank you for being part of the Canine Collective family.
Google reviews and Facebook recommendations are always appreciated!
Welcome to the Pack!
A huge welcome to all of our newest daycare dogs!
It's been so much fun watching new personalities join the pack. Some dogs arrive ready to party like they've been coming here forever, while others like to stand back, sniff every corner, inspect the locals and decide if we're all acceptable first.
(We respect the quality-control process. Dogs have standards!)
Watching dogs settle in, build confidence and find their favourite friends is one of the best parts of what we do.
Meet Sadie!
Please welcome our newest employee... Sadie!
Sadie is our robot vacuum and floor mop, and unlike some of our furry guests, she doesn't shed, bark, roll in mud or steal anyone's lunch.
The best part? More time with the dogs, less time mopping!
While Sadie keeps the daycare sparkling clean, I get to spend more time doing what I actually came here for—playing, enriching, cuddling and hanging out with your dogs.
Don't worry... Rover the robot mower hasn't been replaced. They are now officially our hardworking robot team. I'm just waiting for them to start arguing over who works harder!
Big Dreams for Little Paws
This month we've officially finalised our 2–5 year vision for Canine Collective.
Our dream is to transform the daycare from two paddocks where dogs mostly zoom around into a place where every day is an adventure.
We want to create an environment where dogs can truly be dogs—sniffing, exploring, digging, climbing, investigating and problem-solving, while using both their brains and their bodies.
Our plans include:
A jungle gym with bridges, climbing features and obstacles.
Dig pits for our enthusiastic excavators (because apparently the garden is never enough!).
A dedicated water play area with dog pools, splash fountains and cooling misters.
Natural enrichment areas throughout the dogs' spaces, giving them opportunities to sniff, explore and investigate throughout the day.
Enrichment isn't about keeping dogs busy every minute of the day. It's about allowing them to do the things they naturally love—following their noses, exploring, making choices and enjoying the world the way dogs were meant to.
And, of course, every adventure comes with safety in mind. We want to create a place where dogs can have fun, build confidence and enjoy being dogs in a safe environment.
Thank You
Thank you for trusting me with your dogs.
I know they're not "just dogs"—they're family. It means the world that you choose Canine Collective, and I feel incredibly lucky to spend my days with this amazing pack.
Every wagging tail, muddy paw, goofy grin and dog who races through the gate reminds me why I do this.
One Little Favour...
If your dog comes home happy, tired and ready for a nap, then we've done our job!
If you've been enjoying your experience with Canine Collective, I'd be incredibly grateful if you could leave us a Google review or a Facebook recommendation.
Every review helps more local dog owners find us and supports our little business as we continue building something pretty special.
Thank you so much for being part of the Canine Collective family. We've got some exciting adventures ahead, and I can't wait to share them with you—and, of course, your amazing dogs!
