NEW TO THE COLLECTIVE? 🐾

Before your dog can join the crew, there are a few boxes to tick.

Vaccinations, desexing, daycare suitability — and the rather important question of whether your dog actually thinks we're their kind of people.

Because not every dog is a daycare dog. And that's okay.

WHO CAN JOIN THE COLLECTIVE?

Cute face? Excellent start. But there are a few actual requirements.

🐾 VACCINATIONS
Dogs need to be fully vaccinated and up to date before joining us. We’ll need a copy of their vaccination record too — because “Mum says I’ve had them” doesn’t quite cut it.

🐾 DESEXING
Dogs need to be desexed once they reach the age required under our daycare policy. No entire adult males — hormones and daycare can be a fairly spectacular combination, and not in a good way.

🐾 GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS
Daycare works best for dogs who already enjoy being around other dogs. We provide plenty of opportunities to play, sniff, explore and learn — but daycare isn’t where dogs come to learn basic socialisation from scratch.

🐾 PUPPIES
Puppies are absolutely welcome once they’ve completed the vaccinations required for daycare. We introduce them carefully to suitable dogs, with plenty of opportunities to play, explore, rest and learn how to navigate life around the crew.

🐾 HEALTHY & READY TO ROLL
Dogs need to arrive healthy and well enough to enjoy their day. If they’re sick, injured or carrying something their furry friends really don’t want to take home, daycare can wait.

AND ONE LAST THING…

They might tick all the boxes, but your dog still gets a say in whether daycare is their thing.

Every dog is different. That’s why we meet them first and then give them a FREE trial day to see how they actually feel about the place, the dogs and us.

If they love it and we think they’re a good fit, they get the paws-up. 🐾

HOW TO JOIN THE COLLECTIVE

So your dog reckons they’ve got what it takes? 😏🐾

There’s only one way to find out.

1. TELL US ABOUT THE FURRY APPLICANT

Fill in their registration and give us the good stuff — who they are, what they’re like, vaccination details and anything else we should know. Yes, embarrassing habits may be included.

2. COME SNIFF US OUT

Next, we’ll arrange a visit. You can check us out, your dog can check everything out, and we can meet the four-legged character behind the application. Sniffing is strongly encouraged.

3. TIME TO TRY THE REAL THING

Then comes their FREE trial day. They’ll spend the day with us doing what dogs do — sniffing, exploring, playing, resting, investigating and meeting the crew. Meanwhile, we’ll quietly figure out whether they’re thinking “YES PLEASE” or “Yeah… nah.”

4. THE PAWS-UP 🐾

Had a great day? Comfortable with the crew? Happy being here? If they loved us and we loved having them... PAWS-UP.  THEY’RE IN.

5. WELCOME TO DAYCARE

Once they’ve earned the paws-up, online daycare bookings are good to go. Pick the days you need and book them in.

Got a dog who’s basically claimed the same day every week? Let us know and we’ll make it a regular booking.

More grass, more sniffs, more mates and more general dog business. 🐾

YOUR DOG’S FREE TRIAL DAY 🐾

This is where the dog gets the final say.

They’ve registered. They’ve sniffed us out. Now it’s time to ditch the humans and see what they really think. 😏

Their FREE trial day is a proper day at Canine Collective — grass to sniff, things to investigate, dogs to meet, places to explore, naps to take and probably a bit of questionable dog behaviour along the way.

We’re not looking for the most outgoing dog in the paddock. We want to see their version of a good day.

Maybe they find a new bestie in five minutes. Maybe they spend half the morning inspecting the perimeter. Maybe they play like a lunatic and then conk out. Or maybe they decide watching everyone else being idiots is much more their style.

All perfectly respectable dog choices.

We’ll keep an eye on how they settle, how they are with the crew, whether they can switch off — and the big one:

Are they actually happy here?

If the answer from the dog - and us - is a big fat YES…

PAWS-UP. THEY’RE IN. 🐾

WHAT TO BRING 🐾

Your dog. Preferably on a lead. That’s pretty much it. 😏

We’ve already got the important stuff — water, beds, toys, grass, things to sniff, places to explore and plenty of opportunities for questionable dog decisions.

If they need food, medication or anything special during the day, bring that along and give us the heads-up.

Favourite teddy? Precious ball? The toy they believe is legally theirs and nobody else may breathe near? Leave it at home. 😂

We have plenty here — and nobody needs a diplomatic incident over Mr Squeaky. You bring the dog.

We’ll handle the dog stuff. 🐾

DROP-OFF, PICK-UP & THE HUMAN STUFF 🐾

The dogs have got daycare covered. This bit’s for their chauffeurs.

DROP-OFF
We’re open from 7am, with morning arrivals finished by 9am so we can get on with the important business of being dogs.

PICK-UP
Pick-up is 3:30pm–6pm. Come collect your hopefully happy, comfortably tired dog — and don't expect them to tell you everything they got up to. What happens at daycare stays at daycare.

RUNNING LATE?
Life happens. Just flick us a message so we know what’s going on.

ONE SMALL FAVOUR…
Arrivals and departures can get exciting, so please keep your dog on lead when coming and going. Once they’re safely through the gates, we’ll take it from there.

You handle the taxi service.  They’ll take care of the rest. 🐾

THE BORING BUT IMPORTANT STUFF 🐾

Nobody came to a dog daycare website excited to read the fine print. We get it. But a few things keep the place running smoothly and the dogs doing dog stuff.

BOOKINGS

Once your dog has earned their paws-up, you can book daycare online whenever you need us.

Got a dog who’s basically claimed Tuesdays as their own? If you want the same day every week, just let us know and we’ll make it a regular booking. One less thing for the humans to remember.

CAN’T MAKE IT?

Life happens. If your dog isn’t coming, please let us know as soon as you can. It helps us organise the crew — and saves us wondering whether someone’s chauffeur has slept in.

FEELING A BIT RUFF?

Sick, contagious or just not feeling their usual magnificent self? Give them the day off.

Nobody wants one dog arriving with a bug and generously sharing it with 20 of their closest friends. The crew will cope without them. Probably.

SOMETHING CHANGED?

New medication? Injury? Behaviour a little different? Suddenly developed a passionate hatred of Labradors?

If something’s changed that could affect their day, give us the heads-up. We’d much rather know beforehand than discover it halfway through Tuesday.

                                                              See? That wasn’t too painful.

Boring bit over. Back to the dogs.🐾

THE DAMAGE 💰🐾

$40 A DAY. NICE AND SIMPLE.

No memberships. No packages requiring a calculator. No cheaper Tuesdays if Mercury is in retrograde.

And before you hand over a cent, your dog gets to come and see what they think of the place.  Their first trial day is FREE.

Because if they think we’re a bunch of weirdos and would rather stay home on the couch, probably best we find that out first.

FIRST TRIAL FREE.  THEN $40 A DAY. NO FANCY MATHS REQUIRED. 🐾

GOT QUESTIONS? 🐾

Fair enough. Dogs come with enough questions of their own. Here are the ones the humans usually ask.

DOES MY DOG HAVE TO COME EVERY WEEK?

Nope. Once they’ve earned their paws-up, book daycare online whenever you need it.

Want the same day every week? Let us know and we’ll make it a regular booking. One less thing for the humans to remember.

DOES MY DOG NEED TO BE SUPER SOCIAL?

Nope. They don’t need to be the paddock social butterfly or have 14 best friends.

They do need to be comfortable around other dogs and able to enjoy daycare safely. That’s exactly why we meet them and give them a free trial day first.

DO YOU TAKE PUPPIES?

Absolutely. Once they’ve completed the vaccinations required for daycare, puppies are welcome.

We introduce them carefully, match them with suitable dogs and give them time to play, sniff, explore, rest and figure out this whole being-a-dog business.

WILL MY DOG BE PLAYING ALL DAY?

Nope. Even dogs need to put their feet up.

There’s time for playing, sniffing, exploring and investigating — and time to flop down, watch the world go by and do absolutely nothing.

Comfortably tired. Not run into the ground.

WHAT IF MY DOG DOESN’T LIKE DAYCARE?

Then they don’t like daycare. And that’s okay.

Not every dog is a daycare dog. The whole point of the trial day is to find out whether they actually enjoy being here — not to squeeze every dog into the same box.

DO I NEED TO BRING FOOD?

Nope. Leave the lunchbox at home.

We don’t feed dogs during the daycare day.

If your dog needs medication while they’re with us, bring it along with clear instructions and let us know.

Otherwise? Just bring the dog. Preferably on a lead. 🐾

CAN I COME AND HAVE A LOOK?

Absolutely. Come and sniff us out. 🐾

Pop in Monday–Thursday, 3:30pm–6pm and have a look around, meet us and see what Canine Collective is all about.

No appointment needed. Just turn up.

DO YOU BOARD DOGS?

Nope. Daycare is plenty, thanks. 😂

We’re daycare only — Monday to Friday, 7am–6pm.

They come, they play, sniff, explore, cause a little chaos and then they go home to you.

No sleepovers. We have boundaries. 🐾

WILL MY DOG COME HOME TIRED?

That’s the plan — but we’re aiming for the good kind of tired.

A day of playing, sniffing, thinking, exploring and socialising can take it out of a dog without us needing to run them ragged.

Happy. Comfortably tired. Still capable of functioning tomorrow.

STILL GOT A QUESTION?

Give us a howl. We talk dog pretty much all day anyway. 🐾

THINK YOUR DOG’S READY? 🐾

There’s only one way to find out.
