Here’s a little update from all of us at Canine Collective!

Exciting Enrichment Project

One of our bigger long-term projects is creating a doggy jungle gym and enrichment area for the dogs. We’re planning platforms, balancing beams, ramps, and even see-saw style equipment to help provide more mental stimulation, confidence building, and physical exercise while the dogs are at daycare.

We’ve only just started gathering materials, but we’re very excited to see it all come together and will keep you updated as the project progresses.

New Beds for the Big Dogs

The beds we ordered for the larger dogs are currently sitting in customs waiting for clearance, so we’re hoping they’ll arrive soon.

These beds have been chosen specifically for bigger breeds so we can have dedicated resting spaces suited to each dog’s size and comfort needs during rest time.

Robot Lawnmower Arriving Soon

To help cut down on the amount of manual maintenance around the property, we also have a robot lawnmower on the way.

This means less time spent mowing lawns and more time focused on structured play, enrichment activities, and interaction with the dogs throughout the day.

King’s Birthday Weekend Projects

Over King’s Birthday weekend we spent time doing a big clean-up and maintenance project around the back yards.

We worked on improving the walkways and outdoor areas to help make them safer, cleaner, and less muddy for the dogs as winter and wet weather settle in. These upgrades will help the dogs move around more comfortably while still being able to enjoy plenty of outdoor play during the wetter months.

Kennel Cough Reminder

Kennel cough and winter bugs are currently doing the rounds in the community, so please make sure your dog’s vaccinations are kept up to date.

If Bozley are showing any signs of coughing, lethargy, runny nose, or other symptoms of illness, please keep them home from daycare until they are fully well. This helps us keep all dogs safe and healthy.
