How Often Should a Dog Go to Daycare?

1 min read

There isn't a magic number of daycare days that suits every dog. Annoying, we know. A nice tidy answer would be much easier.

A young social dog may love several days a week. Another dog may get everything they need from one or two. Puppies, adults and seniors can all have different tolerances, and personality matters just as much as age.

The useful question is: how is your dog coping? Are they keen to arrive, able to settle during the day, recovering well afterwards and still enjoying normal life at home?

More isn't automatically better. Good daycare should add something positive to a dog's week, not leave them permanently exhausted.

We look at the individual dog rather than selling everyone the same timetable.
